This role combines the clinical work of a Primary Care Internist with the dedicated, protected time of an Academic Clinician Educator.

So you would be a key player who is embedded within one of the largest and higher performing FQHCs in the nation, and affiliated with one of the nation’s top medical schools and residencies.

Responsibilities include maintaining a panel of patients as well as the supervision and teaching of residents from the Internal Medicine residency programs.

A typical schedule is at least one day a week precepting Residents. Those with prior IM residency teaching experience may have the opportunity to further protect more time for teaching.

1 half-day per week (1 session) is set aside for administrative duties.

The remainder of your time would be dedicated to patient care in a Primary Care setting.
