Our client, a highly regarded not-for-profit health care system serving the Bronx, is currently seeking an Administrative Nurse Manager for their ICCU Telemetry unit. Essentially a Critical Care service that is focused on Cardiac patients.
This could be a compelling option for the most talented Nursing professionals seeking to lead a Magnet Nursing team.
Responsibilities include directly managing the day-to-day operations of the ICCU Telemetry unit, including oversight of RNs, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and other support staff; ensuring adequate clinical support coverage and training for RNs and PAs; and collaborating with campus leadership to support the goals of the health system.
Requirements:
> Ideally, you should have a BSN and NYS RN license required.
> CCRN or similar certifications are highly preferred.
> Demonstrated clinical expertise, knowledge of best-practice Critical Care guidelines as well as possessing effective teaching, training and staff management strategies.
> Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Nurse Manager role
