Job Description
First, the schedule: Three days a week from 11am – 3:30pm then just six overnights per month but no weekends nor on-call.
Next, the total compensation opportunity is on-par with similar NYC options, plus can remote-moonlight at their upscale private practice doing telepsych for approx $500/hour. There is plenty of patient volume so you could almost double the Associate Medical Director salary.
Finally the setting: Brand new and separate Psych ER unit with 5 individual rooms plus a 2-bed overflow. Many other ER Psychiatrists, Emergency Psychiatry RNs (some of which are NPs) and Psychiatry Residents who rotate through starting around 4pm.
