Our client, a not-for-profit health care system serving the northern New York City area, is inviting you to consider joining them as a Nurse Manager of a specialized Med/Surg unit.
Essentially, the best person will be ready to do much more than just maintain the status quo. This Nursing leadership team is ready to invest in and support the next Manager in making deep, lasting systemic changes to improve patient care- and Nursing team satisfaction as well!
So, the right person will be skilled at inspiring, mentoring and, when needed, holding nurses accountable- especially for things like proper charting and incorporating Performance and Quality improvements.
That said, the current nursing team is seasoned, smart and committed to excellence. They just want an equally devoted leader.
Stats:
>Unit has 43 medical surgical beds and 4 hemodialysis beds.
*Note – this Nurse Manager role does not require dialysis or oncology experience, though it could be a bonus.
>It’s also designated for oncology and chemotherapy patients, as well as medical surgical patients, with a wide range of conditions.
