This could be a very compelling option for a Maternal Child Health clinical expert with leadership experience.
The leadership portfolio includes Labor & Delivery (2 ORs), the Mother/Baby unit (8 beds), a Pediatrics Med/Surg unit (8 beds), and the Level 2 NICU (6 bassinets). They are accredited Baby-Friendly and the entire Maternal Fetal Medicine department has been renovated.
They have a strong, cohesive Nursing team, with both a dedicated Nurse Educator and Perinatal Safety Officer.
The outgoing Director has been there a long time, so things are stable. The salary range is $170K – $180K, and they would consider a Maternal Child Health expert who is aiming for her first Director role.
