Job Summary:

Are you a nurse or physician assistant with a passion for elevating care delivery and operational excellence? A respected, mission-aligned Bronx healthcare system is seeking a Director of Quality to drive quality outcomes across their inpatient and outpatient settings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives with a sharp focus on patient safety and satisfaction
  • Guide regulatory readiness and compliance (Joint Commission, NYSDOH, OMH)
  • Analyze and interpret key data sets including NHQM, QCentrix, and eCQMs
  • Serve as a strategic partner across departments to promote continuous quality improvement
  • Oversee quality reporting, policy implementation, and committee engagement
  • Support staff education to foster a culture of safety, transparency, and learning

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of relevant hospital-based quality leadership experience
  • Proven regulatory knowledge: Joint Commission, NYSDOH, OMH
  • Familiarity with quality tools and data systems (QCentrix, eCQMs, NHQM)
  • RN or PA licensure in New York State required
  • MSN or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
