Our client, a highly regarded not-for-profit health care system serving the Bronx, is currently seeking an Administrative Nurse Manager for their ICU unit.
This could be a compelling option for the most talented Critical Care Nursing professionals seeking to lead a Magnet Nursing team.
Responsibilities include directly managing the day-to-day operations of the ICU, including oversight of RNs, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and other support staff; ensuring adequate clinical support coverage and training for RNs and PAs; and collaborating with campus leadership to support the goals of the health system.
Requirements:
> Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
> Valid New York State RN license.
> Critical Care expertise with at least 3 years of Nurse Manager experience in an ICU setting.
> Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
> Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
> Proficiency in financial management, resource utilization, and quality improvement principles.
> Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
