As the Risk Manager, you will be the guardian of quality and safety, working along side the Director of Risk Management. So your mission, if you choose to accept it, will be ensuring patient care shines bright while dodging financial pitfalls. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is a must, with a Master’s as the cherry on top.
You will need 3 to 5 years’ experience in risk management, be familiar with Joint Commission and regulatory standards. Bonus points for a professional certification in healthcare risk management!
