We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected academic-affiliated health system in Brooklyn that’s known for clinical excellence, low drama, and a deeply rooted commitment to underserved communities.
This Laborist role offers full-spectrum inpatient OB care—triage, deliveries (routine and wild-card), postpartum, GYN ER, circumcisions, even high-risk pregnancies (with full MFM support). The hospital sees 4,000 deliveries a year, and the Laborist team covers 1,200–1,300 of them.
There’s a strong support structure: in-house attendings, safety officers, and senior surgeon backup for those “page the whole floor” moments. It’s fast-paced, deeply rewarding work in a team culture that values teaching, accountability, and quality improvement.
