Job Description
Our client is a Bronx healthcare system with value-based system serving a diverse patient base. It’s also an academically-oriented 911 Receiving ED, Level I Trauma and NY State Stroke Center that sees approximately 100,000 visits per year.
They practice an evidence-based model of medicine in a Just Culture environment
The ideal candidate should be a passionate ED Nurse who likes to teach on the fly at the bedside, is hands-on, but can also do education presentation. Not someone who likes to teach in the classroom.
Should have a focus on evidence base practice, be CEN and have Trauma experience, belong to ENA, and know EMTALA regulations. MSN preferred.
The position reports to the Nursing Director of the Emergency Department.
