Primary Care Endocrinologist – Academic FQHC | Diabetes-Focused Role

New york city

Where endocrinology meets impact.

If your clinical happy place is where A1Cs come down and access goes up, this might be your spot. This role offers a steady, community-based Endocrinology practice—over 90% diabetes care—with weekday hours, minimal complexity, and meaningful work.

You’ll join one of the region’s most respected FQHC systems, affiliated with a nationally recognized academic medical center. Care is integrated, high-volume, and mission-driven—serving a richly diverse population with a deep commitment to health equity. Clinical operations are supported by multilingual teams, robust care coordination, and streamlined referrals to tertiary and quaternary services.

Expect a panel filled with continuity-focused diabetes care, a predictable 9 clinical / 1 admin session structure, and a team-based culture that values access, efficiency, and equity. The workflow is designed for impact—no endocrine zebras, just consistent care that changes lives.

The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained and aligned with the system’s mission. A background in primary care or community medicine is a plus. Spanish, Mandarin, or other in-demand language skills are welcomed but not necessary—there’s plenty of live translation support. Early-career physicians, including those needing J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship, are encouraged to apply.
